Who are we?

 

The Guelph Skeptics club is a pro-secular organization which was organized to create a venue for the discussion and investigation of various topics using science and rational thought. We are considered to be a campus group of the Centre for Inquiry which is an organization promoting secular humanism and skeptical thought throughout much of the USA and Canada.

 

Our goals

1. To educate students and the public about the importance of skepticism and critical thinking by hosting lectures given by experts on various subjects.

2. To investigate paranormal and pseudoscientific claims.

3. To ensure that there is secular representation on campus.

4. To provide a discussion forum for local skeptics and freethinkers.
